Fenix LD30R is a compact, light weight rechargeable outdoor flashlight with 5 brightness levels and 1700 lumen max output. The LD30R takes advantage of the supplied Fenix ARB-L18-3400 USB Li-ion battery to offer superb performance, with powerful light output and excellent run times. LD30R also features dual button operation and tough, rose gold finished bezel ring and mode button for a touch of class.
New for this generation of LD30 is the addition of a USB-C socket in the neck of the torch, beam distance increased from 205 to 267m and a 1 lumen moonlight mode with a huge 31 days continuous run time (8 hours per day for 3 months) - perfect for emergencies.
Dual switch operation offers exceptional ergonomics, with the tail switch controlling momentary and constant on /off functions and the neck mounted mode button controlling brightness selection and strobe / SOS mode. The mode button features built in red and green LED's which indicate charging / charged status and battery level. The torch also features mode memory which re starts the light at your last used output level.

Operation
Fenix LD30R Operation:
On/Off:
Tap the tail switch to momentarily turn on the flashlight, release it and the light will go out. Fully press the tail switch to turn on or turn off the flashlight.
Mode switching:
With the light switched on, press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to enter the Flash Mode, press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds once again to return to the General Mode.
Output Selection:
General Mode:
With the light switched on, single click the side switch to cycle through Moonlight→Low→Med→High→Turbo.
Flash Mode:
With the light switched on, press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to enter Strobe, single click the side switch to cycle through Strobe→SOS.
Intelligent Memory Circuit:
The flashlight automatically memorises the last selected output of General Mode. When turned on again the previously used output of General Mode will be recalled.

Warning: Do not mix batteries of different brands, sizes, capacities or types. Doing so may cause damage to the flashlight or to the batteries being used. *18650/16340 rechargeable Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Only using quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion. Cell damage or short circuiting caused by using these types of battery is considered user induced damage and is not covered by any Fenix warranty or liability.
Battery Replacement:
Unscrew the light body and insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the light body back on.
Charging:
With the flashlight switched off, open the anti-dust cover to reveal the charging port, then connect the USB Type-C end of the charging cable to the flashlight. 2. The indicator will display red while charging, and will turn to green when fully charged. 3. Once charging is completed, be sure to close the anti-dust cover. 4. With the flashlight switched off, the normal charging time of the Fenix ARB-L18-3400 battery is about 3 hours from depleted to fully charged with a 5 V/2 A charging adapter. Only Moonlight output and Low output can be operated while charging. 5. Recharge a stored light every four months to maintain optimum performance of the battery.
Battery level indication:
Each time the light is turned on, the battery level indicator in the middle of the switch will automatically display the battery status for 3 seconds. Green light on: saturated 100% - 85% Green light flashes: sufficient 85% - 50% Red light on: poor 50% - 25% Red light flashes: critical 25% - 1% Note: This feature only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 Series rechargeable battery.
Intelligent Overheat Protection:
The flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. The light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature to a safe level when this situation occurs.
Low-voltage Warning:
When the voltage level drops below 3.0 V, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Moonlight output is reached. When this happens in Moonlight output, the battery level indicator blinks red to remind you to replace or recharge the battery. To ensure normal use, the flashlight will not turn off automatically and will work till the battery level runs out. Note: This feature only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 Series rechargeable battery.
Usage and Maintenance:
◎Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty. ◎Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery. ◎If the light will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the light could be damaged by electrolyte leakage or battery explosion. ◎Remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation. ◎Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare． ◎Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp's performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:
Problems:
A: Poor battery level. Solution: Replace or recharge the battery (Ensure the battery is inserted according to the manufacturer’s specifications). B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
