HM61R V3.0 is a comprehensive upgrade to the V2.0 model.

    New features:

    • Increased output from 1600 to 1800 lumens
    • Battery upgraded from 3400 to 4000mAh capacity
    • USB-C charging
    • Dual switch operation
    • New 200 lumen flood light with 3 brightness levels
    • Red light upgraded from 2 brightness levels to 3, max output up from 5 to 70 lumens

    Fenix HM61R V3.0 performance:

    Spotlight:
    6500K colour temperature.

    Low: 30 lumens (73 hrs) - 24m beam
    Med: 150 lumens (23 hrs) - 53m beam
    High 600 lumens (5 hrs 45 min) - 107m beam
Turbo: 1800 lumens (2 hrs 42 min inc temperature and battery level step downs) - 195m beam

    Floodlight:

    Low: 5 lumens (300 hrs) - 5m beam
    Mid: 30 lumens (57 hrs) - 10m beam
    High: 200 lumens (12 hrs) - 33m beam

    Med: 15 lumens (53 hrs) - 8m beam
    High: 70 lumens (12 hrs) - 17m beam
    Flashing: 3 lumens

Fenix tested run times at each output level are achieved by switching the light on and letting it run uninterrupted until the battery is drained as per the ANSI standard. Resetting the torch to a higher power level during operation will reduce these run times.

    Warning:

    1. Do not use batteries without any protection board.
    2. Do not mix batteries of different types.

*18650 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Using low-quality batteries or mishandling batteries (such as short-circuiting or overheating) could lead to combustion and jeopardize the safety of users and property. Any adverse effects resulting from the use of low-quality batteries are not covered by any Fenix warranty or liability. Using quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion.

**For optimal performance, it is recommended to use the included battery. When using CR123A or 16340 batteries, do not charge them to ensure safety. With these batteries, the headlamp will operate with fewer brightness levels and shorter runtime.

    Battery Replacement:

Unscrew the battery cover and insert the battery in accordance with the polarity marks, then screw the battery cover back on.

    Charging:

    1. Open the anti-dust cap and plug the USB Type-C end of the charging cable into the charging port of the headlamp.
    2. The indicator will display red while charging and will turn green when fully charged.
    3. Once charging is completed, be sure to unplug the charging cable and close the anti-dust cover to prevent the ingress of dust and debris.

    Note:

    1. The normal charging time of the included battery is approximately 2.5 hours from depleted to fully charged with a 5 V/2.6 A charging adapter.
    2. When using CR123A or 16340 batteries, it is strictly prohibited to mix batteries of different models, types, ages, capacities, or charge states. Furthermore, it is strictly prohibited to charge these batteries.
    3. Recharge a stored headlamp every four months to maintain the optimum performance of the battery.

    Battery Level Indication:

With the lamp turned off, single click the main switch to check the current battery level. Single click once again and the battery level indicator will go out, or without any operation the battery level indicator will last for 3 seconds. Each time the lamp is turned on, the battery level indicator will also indicate the current battery level and will last for 3 seconds.

    Green light on: 100% - 85%
    Green light flashes: 85% - 50%
    Red light on: 50% - 20%
Red light flashes: 20% - 1% (please charge the headlamp promptly)

*This only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 Series rechargeable battery.

    Intelligent Overheat Protection:

The headlamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55°C/131°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55°C/131°F, the headlamp will gradually recall the pre-set output level.

    Low-voltage Warning:

When the voltage level drops below the pre-set level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the lowest output is reached. When this happens in the lowest output, the battery level indicator blinks red to remind users to recharge or replace the battery in a timely manner.

*This only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 Series battery.

    Headband Assembly:

Notice: The headband is factory assembled and ready to use right out of the package.
Adjust the headband by sliding the buckle to the required length.

    Usage and Maintenance:

â—Ž Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the headlamp and will void the warranty.
â—Ž Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery.
â—Ž If the lamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the headlamp could be damaged by electrolyte leakage.
â—Ž Turn off and lock the headlamp or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
â—Ž Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the O-ring with an approved spare.
â—ŽPeriodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp's performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate.

    Problems:

    A: Poor battery level.
Solution: Recharge or replace the battery.
B: The contact or contact point of the battery or headlamp is dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don't work, please contact the distributor.
