Please note that this product is not recommended for caving or similar use as thick mud and other debris may cause issues with the operation of the sliding switch.
Fenix HM60R V2 headlamp is an impressive upgrade to the original model in terms of power output, switching system and battery capacity. Output has increased from 1300 lumens to 1600 lumens, a sliding mode switch with lock function has been added and the supplied battery is upgraded from 3400 to 4000 mAh capacity. Other changes include the removal of the cadence sensor for running and removal of the beam splitter, increasing beam distance from 120m to 170m.
Built tough and designed for industrial applications, this versatile light incorporates a powerful main beam, pure flood beam and red flood beam with flashing function into one compact unit. The red light has been upgraded from 5 lumens to dual outputs of 3 and 20 lumens. It can be activated from the off position via the side push button, isolating it so that the main and flood beams can't be accidentally activated.
A modern inner waterproof USB-C type socket is fitted under an aluminium screw cover (charging cable supplied) to charge the included 18650 battery in just 2.5 hours using your 5V/2A mobile phone charger or similar.

*18650 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Using low-quality batteries or mishandling batteries (such as short-circuiting or overheating) could lead to combustion and jeopardize the safety of users and property. Any adverse effects resulting from the use of low-quality batteries are not covered by any Fenix warranty or liability. Using quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion. Battery Replacement:

*This feature only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 Series battery. Intelligent Overheat Protection:
The headlamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55°C/131°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55°C/131°F, the headlamp will gradually recall the preset output level. Low-voltage Warning:
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the lowest output is reached. When this happens in the lowest output, the battery level indicator blinks red to remind users to recharge or replace the battery in a timely manner.
*This feature only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 Series battery. Headband Assembly:
Notice: The headband is factory assembled and ready to use right out of the package. Adjust the headband by sliding the buckle to the required length.
Usage and Maintenance:
â—ŽDisassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the headlamp and will void the warranty. â—ŽFenix recommends using an excellent quality battery. â—ŽIf the lamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the headlamp could be damaged by electrolyte leakage. â—ŽTake out the battery or unscrew the battery cover to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation. â—ŽLong-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the O-ring with an approved spare. â—ŽPeriodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp's performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate: Problems:
A: Poor battery level. Solution: Recharge or replace the battery. B: The contact or contact point of the battery or headlamp is dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
If the above methods don't work, please contact the distributor.
