Fenix CP50R is a high output, multi-purpose lighting instrument suitable for a multitude of tasks from industrial and roadside use to camping. It incorporates multiple beams for wide ranging versatility.
• 3,000 lumen spotlight beam with stepless rotary brightness adjustment and a range of 450 metres
• 3,000 lumen white floodlight beam with stepless rotary brightness and colour temperature adjustment
• Combined spotlight and floodlight (5500 lumens Max) with stepless rotary brightness and colour temperature adjustment
• Yellow flashing floodlight for signalling /emergencies
• Green constant-on floodlight
• Red 3 segment emergency light with constant-on, flashing and chasing modes
2 rotary switches and a mode selection button at the rear of the unit control all the light functions.
CP50R is powered by 2 x 6000mAh 21700 Li-ion batteries, rechargeable via a USB-C socket in the rear of the lamp body. Whilst the batteries can be charged internally, they can also be removed and replaced with spares to extend run time. Another useful feature is the ability to run at up to 500 lumens whilst charging the lantern for extended illumination of smaller areas. The USB-C socket can both charge the lamp and discharge for use as a power bank, whilst a USB-A socket is also incorporated for use as a power bank.
A 360 degree rotating handle incorporating powerful magnets and a tripod socket provides versatile options for carrying, free standing and mounting the lantern.
Please note that higher output run times are subject to both thermal and remaining battery power brightness regulation, and are measured by leaving the light to run un-interrupted until the batteries are exhausted. Increasing or reducing the light output at any time will affect these times.
Please refer to the run time graph below for more information.

Operation
Fenix CP50R operation:
Modes and Outputs:
Mode A: Floodlight mode, stepless brightness and colour temperature regulation. Mode B: Spotlight mode, stepless brightness regulation. Mode C: Spot-and floodlight mode, stepless brightness and colour temperature regulation. Mode D: Warning mode: D1: Red constant-on D2: Red flash D3: Red chase D4: Yellow flash D5: Green constant-on
Mode Switching:
With the lantern turned off, rotate the large rotary switch clockwise to enter Mode A. Single click the central electronic switch to cycle through Mode A → Mode B → Mode C.
To enter mode D:Â
From off, press and hold the electronic switch for 0.5 seconds. Single click the electronic switch to cycle through D1→D2→D3 D4→D5. Press and hold the the electronic switch for 0.5 seconds to turn off the lantern. In Modes A, B, or C, it is not possible to shift to Mode D. In Mode D, rotate the large rotary switch to enter Mode A.
Output Selection and Light Colour Adjustment:
In Modes A, B, or C, rotate the large rotary switch clockwise to change the brightness from low to high and rotate it counter-clockwise to change the brightness from high to low. Rotate it to the counter-clockwise stop to turn off the lantern. In Modes A and C, rotate the small rotary switch clockwise to change the colour temperature from cold to warm, and rotate it counter-clockwise to change the colour temperature from warm to cold.
Intelligent Memory Circuit:
The lantern automatically memorizes the previously used mode. When turned on again, the previously used mode will be recalled.
The lantern automatically memorizes the previously used output of the Warning mode. When turned on again in Warning mode, the previously used output of the Warning mode will be recalled.
The lantern automatically memorizes the previously used colour temperature of the Floodlight mode. When turned on again in Floodlight mode, the previously selected colour temperature will be recalled.
Note: 1.The lantern doesn't memorize the last selected brightness level. When turned on again, the lantern will activate on the Low output. 2.If the small rotary switch Is rotated after the lantern is turned off, then the lantern will not recall the previously selected colour temperature when turned on again.

Warning:
*21700 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Using low-quality batteries or mishandling batteries (such as short-circuiting or overheating) could lead to combustion and jeopardize the safety of users and property. Any adverse effects resulting from the use of low-quality batteries are not covered by any Fenix warranty or liability. Using high quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion.
Battery Replacement:
Lift up the pull ring at the lantern bottom and unscrew it counter-clockwise to open the battery cover. Insert the batteries with the cathode side (-) towards the inside, then screw the battery cover back on.
Charging:
1. Open the anti-dust cover and connect the USB Type-C end of the charging cable to the lantern. 2. When charging, the battery level indicators will flash from left to right to display the charging status. 3. The four indicators will be constant-on after charging is completed.
Note:
1.When charging, the maximum brightness level of the lantern is 500 lumens. 2.With the lantern turned off, the normal charging time is at least approximately 3 hours from depleted to fully charged with a maximum charging power of 22.5 W. 3. Once charging is completed, be sure to unplug the charging cable and close the anti-dust cover.
Power Bank Function:
1. Open the anti-dust cover and connect the USB-C end or the USB-A end of the charging cable to the light. 2. When discharging, the battery level indicators will flash from right to left to display the discharging status. 3. When the battery level is lower than 3 V, the lantern will automatically stop discharging.
Note:
1. The lantern can be operated while discharging. 2. Fast charging protocols supported include: USB-C: PD3.0 / PD2.0 / QC3.0 / QC2.0; USB-A: QC3.0 / QC2.0. 3. Discharge performance: If the discharge output is 5 V, then the maximum discharge current is 3 A; if the discharge output is 9 V, then the maximum discharge current is 2 A; if the discharge output is 12 V, then the maximum discharge current is 1.5 A. 4.The USB-A and USB-C ports can discharge simultaneously. 5.The USB-A port cannot discharge while the lantern is being recharged via the USB-C port.
Battery Level Indication:
With the lantern turned off, single click the electronic switch to check the battery status, the indicator(s) will last for 3 seconds. Each time the lantern is turned on, the indicator(s) will show the current battery level and will last for 3 seconds.
Four lights on: 100% - 80% Three lights on: 80% - 60% Two lights on: 60% - 40% One light on: 40% - 20% One light flashes: 20% - 1%
Intelligent Overheat Protection:
The lantern will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output for extended periods. When the lantern reaches a temperature of 54°C/129.2°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 54°C/129.2°F, the lantern will gradually recall the pre-set output level.
Low Voltage Warning:
When the voltage level drops below the pre-set level, one battery level indicator blinks to remind users to recharge or replace the batteries in a timely manner. To ensure normal use, the lantern will not turn off automatically and will work until the batteries run out.
Usage and Maintenance:
Disassembling the sealed parts of the lantern can cause damage and will void the warranty. Fenix recommends using excellent quality batteries. If the lantern will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries, or the lantern could be damaged by electrolyte leakage. Recharge a stored lantern every three months to maintain optimum performance of the batteries.
The lantern may flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:
A: Poor battery level. Solution: Recharge or replace the batteries.
B: The contact or contact points of the batteries or lantern are dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
If the above methods don't work, please contact the distributor.
