Incredibly compact yet with a performance that belies its carry anywhere size, Fenix CL20R 300 lumen rechargeable lantern is an extremely versatile, waterproof lighting tool ideal for anyone that likes to travel light but accepts no compromise in performance. Ideal as a fishing / angling lantern, camping lantern and Emergency Services back up lantern.
The built in Li - Poly 1600 mAh battery gives excellent run times and is recharged via Micro USB using the supplied USB cable and any existing USB or solar USB charger. Charge time from empty is a rapid 1 hour 40 minutes.
Fenix CL20R lantern is fitted with 16 x Neutral - White LED's for excellent colour rendering, thermal cooling and a perfect spread of anti - glare light, plus 2 red LED's to protect night vision. CL20R offers 4 white light outputs plus red and red flashing. Each brightness level is digitally regulated to maintain output as long as the battery can support it and Max run time is 200 hours in low output mode or 100 hours in red light mode. You also get Illuminated LED indications behind the switch for remaining power and charging status. Low and medium outputs remain usable whilst your lantern is being charged.
A flat bottom, magnetic base and hanging loop offer numerous usage configurations and CL20R is IP66 rated against the worst weather conditions.

Operation
Fenix CL20R operation:
White lantern:
On/Off:
Press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to turn the lantern on/off.
Output Selection:
Single click the switch to cycle through Low→ Med→ High→Turbo (Low is the factory default)
Red lantern On/Off:
With the lantern turned on, double click the switch to enter red lantern, double click once again to return to white lantern. Press and hold for 0.5 seconds to turn off the lantern.Â
Red light output selection:
Single click the switch to cycle through Constant on→Red Flash (Constant on is factory defaulted)
Intelligent brightness downshifting:
The camping lantern will accumulate a lot of heat when used for extended periods. After 30-minutes working on Turbo mode, the light will automatically step down from 300 lumens to 120 lumens to reduce temperature. After an hour working on High mode, the light will automatically step down from 130 lumens to 52 lumens to reduce temperature.
Charging:
1. Remove the anti-dust cover to reveal the charging port of the camping lantern and plug the Micro USB terminal of the charging cable into it. 2. The charging indicator will display red while charging, and will turn to solid green when fully charged. The normal charging time of the built-in battery is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
