Fenix BC22R is a compact 1400 lumen, 156m beam rechargeable LED bike light powered by a high capacity 3400 mAh 18650 Li-ion battery. A Luminus SST40 LED and Fenix moulded lens deliver a wide beam angle with a choice of flash mode, and 4 light outputs from 50 to 1400 lumens, offering excellent brightness for road riding. The light beam also features side visibility and a cut-off at the top of the beam for added road safety.
The light weight aluminium head provides excellent heat dissipation for extended bursts of high output, and long service life. Fenix BC22R bike light is impervious to rain, being completely weatherproof.
The supplied rechargeable battery is easily replaced by unscrewing the light head, so it's simple to swap out and keep night riding for hours.
BC22R is supplied with a versatile nylon / fibreglass anti ageing handlebar mount, including bushings to fit handlebars of various diameters. A quick release lever enables the light to slide from the mount for security, fitting easily into a pocket. The bar mount can itself be removed quickly from the handlebars. A secondary mount adaptor is included to enable inverted mounting on Go-Pro compatible handlebar mounts.
The compact size of Fenix BC22R means it can also perform as a powerful, long running LED hand torch.

Operation
Fenix BC22R Operation:
On/Off:
Press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on/off the light.
Output Selection:
With the light switched on, single click the switch to cycle through Low→Med→High→Turbo.
Flash Mode:
With the light switched on, press and hold the switch for 1.2 seconds to enter Flash, single click again to exit Flash and return to the previously used output.
Intelligent Memory Circuit:
The light memorizes the last selected output excluding Flash. When turned on again, the previously used output will be recalled.
*18650 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Only using quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion; cell damage or short circuiting are considered user induced damage and are not covered by any Fenix warranty or liability.
Battery Replacement:
Unscrew the light body and insert the battery with the anode side(+) towards the light head, then screw the light head back on.
Charging:
1. Turn off the light, open the anti-dust cover to reveal the USB Type-C charging port, and connect the USB Type-C socket of the charging cable to the light. 2. The indicator will display red while charging and will turn green when fully charged. 3. Once charging is completed, be sure to close the anti-dust cover to maintain the dustproof and waterproof ability.
Note:
The normal charging time of the light is approximately 3 hours from depleted to fully charged. Recharge a stored light every four months to maintain optimum performance of the battery. The Low output or Med output can be operated while charging but the charging time will be prolonged. * These features only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 series battery. **The light cannot be operated without battery inserted with charging.
Battery Level Indication:
With the light switched off, single click the switch to check the battery status, the indicator will last for 3 seconds. Green light on: saturated 100% - 85% Green light flashes: sufficient 85% - 50% Red light on: poor 50% - 25% Red light flashes: critical 25% - 1% Note: This features only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 series battery.
Intelligent Overheat Protection:
The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C/140°F or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C/140°F, the light automatically recalls the previously used output level.
Low Voltage Warning:
When the voltage level drops below the pre-set level, the light is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Low output is reached. When this happens in Low output, the battery level indicator blinks red to remind you to replace or recharge the battery.
Usage and Maintenance:
â—ŽDisassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty. â—ŽRecharge the battery in time to ensure normal use for next time. â—ŽRecharge a stored light every four months to maintain optimum performance of the battery. â—ŽFenix recommends using an excellent quality battery. â—ŽIf the lamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the lamp could be damaged by electrolyte leakage. â—ŽLoosen the light body or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation. â—ŽPeriodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp's performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:
Problems:
A: Poor battery level. Solution: Replace or recharge the battery (Ensure the battery is inserted according to the manufacturer’s specifications). B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol. If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.
