Fenix TK17 Tactical flashlight is powered by an ultra capacity 6000mAh 21700 USB-C rechargeable battery / power bank (supplied) and upgrades the popular TK16 with a temperature regulated boost mode capable of a blistering 3600 lumens. All this performance is housed in a compact form factor ideal for both hand held and weapon mounted use.
The exposed dual tail cap switch system enables single handed control of all output options including momentary and constant-on lighting, 4 brightness levels and strobe function. Instant Burst Mode and Instant-Strobe functions are available whether TK17 is switched on or off.
Other stand out features of this Fenix Torch include a matt black finish for covert use, a crenulated stainless steel bezel fitted with tungsten alloy glass breaker inserts, and a recoil protected battery tube featuring dual springs.
The included Fenix ARB-L21-6000B lithium battery features its own USB-C socket and power indicators. The battery, recharged outside the torch, both powers the light and can be used as a 6000mAh power bank for phone and small device charging.
For weapon mounted use a number of Fenix accessories are available including the AER 05 remote pressure switch, Fenix ALG-05 remote switch mounting base and ALG-00 torch rail mount. The light is also compatible with Fenix ALP-10L holster and AOT-04 traffic wand.

*It is strictly prohibited to use an 18650, CR123A, or 16340 battery. *21700 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Using low-quality batteries or mishandling batteries (such as short-circuiting or overheating) could lead to combustion and jeopardize the safety of users and property. Any adverse effects resulting from the use of low-quality batteries are not covered by any Fenix warranty or liability. Using quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion.
Battery Replacement:
Unscrew the light tail to insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the light tail back on.
Charging:
1. Loosen the light neck or tail cap to remove the battery, then connect the USB Type-C end of the charging cable to the battery. 2. The three indicators on the battery will display blue while charging, and the number of constant-on indicator(s) indicates the current battery level. The three indicators will be constant-on after charging is completed. Note: Recharge the battery of a stored light every four months to maintain the optimum performance of the battery.
Battery Level Indication:
1) Press either switch to turn on the light and turn it off within 1 second; after 0.5 seconds, the battery level indicator will show the battery level and will last for 3 seconds. 2) The indicator remains off if the light stays on for more than 1 second or if the light is currently on. 3) While the indicator is on, press either switch to turn off the indicator and turn on the light.

*Note: This only works with a Fenix ARB-L21 Series 21700 rechargeable battery.
Low-voltage Warning:
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the light is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level. When the voltage level is very low, the flashlight blinks 3 times every 5 seconds to remind users to replace or recharge the battery.
*Note: This only works with a Fenix ARB-L21 Series 21700 rechargeable battery.
Intelligent Overheat Protection:
The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C/140°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C/140°F, the light will gradually recall the preset output level.
Usage and Maintenance:
◎Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty. ◎Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery. ◎If the light will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the light could be damaged by electrolyte leakage. ◎Loosen the tail cap or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation. ◎Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, lubricate the o-ring with a tiny amount of silicone oil or silicone grease. Do not use silicone oil on the torch threads. Replace the ring with an approved spare if necessary. ◎Periodic cleaning of the light and battery contacts improves the light's performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:
A: Poor battery level. Solution: Recharge or replace the battery. B: The contact or contact point of the battery or light is dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
If the above methods don't work, please contact the distributor.
