Fenix HL32R-T is a premier quality, ultra light trail running head torch featuring dual beams and dual power options.
The supplied Fenix ARB-LP1900, 1900 mAh Li-Poly battery delivers high brightness and extended run times. The ARB-LP1900 battery can be fully recharged from flat in only 3 hours using the included USB-C charging cable and your mobile phone charger, whilst the removable battery design enables fast swapping for a spare LP1900 or 3 x AAA batteries.
The powerful main beam and wide flood beam LED's are directly mounted into a beautifully cast, ultra light magnesium alloy premium head casing. The use of magnesium gives effective LED heat sinking for extended high output and increased service life, all without a weight penalty.
Each beam features 3 brightness settings, and for extended use either beam will last up to 20 hours at the 70 lumen medium setting. Plenty of light to get you through extended running sessions.
Fenix HL32R-T headlamp incorporates a frequency sensor which proportionally increases output when the wearer is running at between 150 and 220 strides a minute, lighting the trail further ahead when you pick up the pace.
As a Fenix Trail Edition, HL32R-T includes the superb Fenix BOA Style headband system incorporating on the go adjustment of tension with a simple twist for an exact fit. The headband itself is a wider design, dispersing load over a wider area for greater comfort.
Fenix HL32R-T performance:
Main beam: (6500K colour temperature):
Low: 70 lumens (20 hrs) - 38m beam (can be used while charging)
Med: 200 lumens (8 hrs) - 66m beam
High: 800 lumens (3 hrs total inc temperature and battery level step downs) - 132m beam
Fenix tested run times at each output level are achieved by switching the light on and letting it run uninterrupted until the battery is drained as per the ANSI standard. Re setting the torch to a higher power level during operation will reduce these run times. Run times will vary due to the frequency sensor function.
Fenix HL32R-T features:
• Superb cast magnesium alloy head. Effective LED heatsink and ultra light weight
• Dual Power. Use the included 1800mAh Li-Po battery or 3 x AAA
• Individual beam switches (Please note - beams cannot be used together)
• Low mode of 5 lumens flood light or 70 lumens main beam can be used while charging. Great for keeping your run going indefinitely
• Intelligent memory circuit on main beam
• 3 hour USB-C fast charging of included ARB-LP1900 battery (If using AAA batteries, Do Not attempt to charge them in the headlamp)
• Reverse polarity battery protection
• Breathable reflective headband. Comfortable and highly visible
• Headband removable for cleaning
• Lock out function for safe transportation
• Wide -35 to 45c operating temperature

Each time the floodlight mode is entered with Low output of floodlight mode. With the lamp switched on: while switching between the two modes, the headlamp memorises the output of either of the modes.
Warning: Do not mix batteries of different brands, sizes, capacities or types. Doing so may cause damage to the headlamp or the batteries being used. *Only use recommended or usable batteries. Only use quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion; but cell damage or short circuiting are potential risks the user assumes.
Battery Replacement:
Pull battery cover latch with Fenix logo that is located between the switches to open the tail cap. Insert the battery/batteries in accordance with the polarity marks. Replace the tail cap.
Frequency Sensing:
As the user’s step frequency increases or decreases, the brightness will gradually increase or decrease accordingly.
Charging:
Uncover the left anti-dust cap and plug the USB Type-C side of the charging cable into the charging port of the lamp; when charging is complete, replace the anti-dust cap to ensure waterproof and dustproof ability. In charging process, four indicators flash: below 20%, one constant-on and three flash: 20% - 50%, two constant-on and two flash: 50% - 80%, three constant-on and one flashes: 80% - 95%, four constant-on: charging complete. When charging, the Low of either of the modes can be used. The normal charging time is 3 hours from depletion to full charging. Note: The headlamp has a charging protection function. It will automatically end charging and indicating when the detected temperature is higher than 65°C. Recharge a stored headlamp every four months to maintain optimal battery performance.
Battery Level Indication:
With the light switched off, single click either of the switches to check the battery level and indicator(s) will last for 3 s. Four blue lights on: 100% - 80% Three blue lights on: 80% - 60% Two blue lights on: 60% - 40% One blue light on: 40% - 20% One blue light flashes: 20% - 1% Note: This only works with Fenix ARB-LP1900 battery.
Low-voltage Warning:
When the voltage level drops below the pre-set level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Low output is reached. When this happens in Low output, the battery level indicator blinks to remind you to timely recharge or replace the battery. Note: This only works with Fenix ARB-LP1900 battery.
Intelligent Overheat Protection:
The lamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at relatively high output levels for extended periods. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 65°C or above, the lamp will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 65°C, it will then allow the user to reselection the modes.
